The MLEF has been pleased to provide grants that enrich education through technology. One of our recent campaigns centered around providing Smartboards in the classrooms.
Our Smartboard campaign was highly successful. Thanks to your support, from 2005 through the present, we have placed Smartboards in 10 classrooms through Wildwood, Briarcliff and the High School. What is a Smartboard?A Smartboard is an interactive whiteboard that turns a computer and projector into a powerful teaching tool. You simply touch the board to control the computer, and write notes on the board with a special pen. You can then save these notes to be printed later for the students. To learn more about Smarboards, watch these videos of Smartboards in action.
Smartboards in ActionFrom kindergarten to physics, Smartboards use technology to facilitate learning. Throughout the country, teachers are embracing Smartboards and are quickly learning their benefits. Watch these videos to see how two teachers, one kindergarten and one college level, use Smarboards in their classroom.
